Dnd Notes 03-19-23 B-Team

  • We use the magic broom (named Steve) to descend into the chamber
  • There are several creatures in cages that don't seem to be moving and a pile of dead bodies. There are also several coffins
  • Ungvar starts popping some of the coffins and grey dust starts to emerge accompanied by a sizzling sound. Our thinking is that its the vampire within vaporizing in the sunlight
  • Vapor uses thunderclap to burst several more coffins within
  • Ungvar drags the more ornate coffin into the light. Infaris knocks on the side trying to talk to whoever may be inside. No response.
  • Ungvar pops the top to reveal that it's empty
  • In some nearby chests we find
    • 488 gp
    • 12x Potion of Cold Resistance (55 gp) (Infaris 8, Ungvar 4)
    • 12 spears (Ungvar)
    • +1 shield enchanted with blur (Ungvar)
  • 2 blue dragons are waiting for us outside, they were drawn in by the TNT explosions and the thunderclap
  • Infaris summons her dragon spirit to talk to the dragons and convince them that it was there to kill the vampire. We manage to convince the dragons to let us leave peacefully
  • Infaris starts drawing a teleportation circle as Vapor passes out from not drinking enough alcohol.
  • Once through the portal Vapor heads off to a bar for some CaliMalort
  • Yeedrah mentions that the guards are looking for the people who desecrated the Temple of Bahamut. Infaris and Vapor were disguised at the time
  • We meet with with the heads of several nearby temples to get some assistance
